Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Welcome to the Sandbox Project

This demo engagement website was made with the EngagementHQ (EHQ) platform.

Please try all the activities and make sure to write comments when prompted! Some activities may send you an email notification, this is normal, and can be switched off in the settings when you are designing your engagement.

Online engagements such as this one can include several pages that contain text, links, images, embbeded content (such as a youtube video or one of your own survey questions) and questions for participants.

Question and Environment Types

Activities such as survey questions or discussions fit into one of three different types of 'environment' below. You can try all these questions at the bottom of this project page.

1. OPEN ENVIRONMENT

Two-way discussion
Participants can respond to each other and comments are visible to all - within the project's visibility settings.

A. Map: interactive clickable maps with loads of options for admins and participants.
B. Forum: Classic discussion forum
C. Ideas: Text and image cards on a billboard environment, with upvoting.

2. MIXED ENVIRONMENT

One way discussion
Participants can only contribute, not respond directly to other contributions. Not all answers will be visible.

A. Stories : Similar to writing blog articles
B. Guestbook : Short text-only entries
C. Questions: A contact form
D. Newsfeed: Clickable multimedia-ready posts in a chronological list

3. CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT

Common Survey questions
Participants cannot engage with each other, and will not see responses unless the administrator chooses to share results.

---- Quickpolls

Quickpolls are a bit of a side feature and only provide you with a single-choice question. Unless you have a specific reason for using one, we recommend using a standard Choice Question.

Embedded Quick Poll

Questions can be embedded on any web page and the answers will be recorded securely in the EHQ dashboard. All anonymous poll question types can be embedded this way. Quickpolls set to 'Anonymous' such as this one don't require users to fill out a Recaptcha; it means that there is not limit to the number of time someone can answer, and that you might get robots polluting your results.
